Political scientist (b. July 1937, Ankara).
He graduated from Ankara
University, Faculty of
Law. He completed his doctorate studies at the same institution (1962) and
became first an assistant professor (1967) and then a professor (1975). He
worked as a lecturer at Ankara
University, Faculty of
Law and as a central executive board member of the research center at the
Atatürk Culture, Language and History Advanced Association.
He continued his studies as a lecturer at Bilkent
University and became a member of the Academy of Sciences in 1993, from 1987 the legal
advisor to the Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and became a
member of the International Political Science Society (executive board member
between 1979-1985). His articles on constitutional law, election sociology,
political parties and the political structure of Turkey have been published in many
reviews at home and abroad.
