Poet and writer. He was born on June 19, 1955 in
His first poem “Düşünceler” was published in Galatasaray High School’s magazine in
May 1970 issue, then his other poems and writings were published in Yeni
Ortam (1973-75), Vatan (1975), Soyut (1973-77), Yeni Dergi
(1975), Yeni Ufuklar (1975-76), Varlık (1975-81), Türk Dili
(1976-81), Saçak (1976-80), Türkiye Yazıları (1977-83), Yeditepe
(1979), Yusufcuk (1979-80), Gösteri (1995), Milliyet Sanat
(1997), Bahçe (1999), Yaşasın Edebiyat (1999) newspapers and
magazines. He received Lions Literature Award with his work Gülgûn ile
Nergis in 1978, and received first
prize in Ataturk Poems Contest of Spor Toto in 1981 with his book Atatürk
Sonsuzlaması. His book Fahişe ve Genelev Şiirleri was recalled from
the market with the reason of “against public’s decency and morals” in 1976.
