Poet (b.
1928, Hisarcık village / Yayladağ). He graduated from
Düziçi Village Institution (1951) and after a period of working as a primary
school teacher he graduated from the Ankara Gazi Institute of Education,
English Language Department. He worked as a teacher at
His poems have been published in reviews such as Yücel, Yeditepe and Türk Dili.
He won the 1980 Nevzat Üstün Poetry Award, the 1982 Yeditepe and the 1982 Turkish Language Association Poetry Award
with his book Halk Çağı (Age of People) and in 1984 the
Ömer Faruk Toprak Poetry Award with his book Şiir Sıcağı (The Heat of Poetry).
