Writer
(b. 1956, İstanbul). He is the son of Halit Kıvanç, the famous orator,
journalist and writer. He attended Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak Primary School and
graduated from İstanbul High School for Boys and Istanbul University, Press and
Publishing Advanced School. He worked as redactor and proof-reader at Altın
Kitaplar Publishing House (1975-80), journals such as Milliyet (1980-81) and Cumhuriyet
(1981-86), the review Yeni Gündem
(1986-87) and İletişim Publishing House (1989-97). He has been working as the
editor of the Internet site Medyakronik since 1997.
He
is also a musician and graphic artist.
