Poet and writer (b. 1886, Oğarı Çegem Village, Kabardino-Balkar Republic-d. 1974). He was one of the oldest Balkar poets who began the studies of Balkar literature with Meçiev. After graduating from Simferopol Institute of Pedagogies, he worked as Balkar language and literature teacher in Nalchik for long years. He wrote textbooks in Balkar language for schools. Most of his poems were composed and song by people widely.

His most famous poem Kaya Kızı Kırlangıç (Swallow, the Daughter of Rocks) was written in March 1944 during the period of exile of Balkars to Middle Asia, then was told by peoples although it was forbidden. His grave is in Oğarı Çegem.
