Journalist
and writer (b. 1897, Razgrad – d. 7 December 1973, İstanbul). He started in
journalism in 1914 with the newspaper Türk
Sadası that was published in Sofia. He published the newspaper Deliorman (which supported the rights of
the Muslim-Turkish minority in Bulgaria), Mücadele
and Tunaboyu in Pleven, the weekly
review Rumeli (Thrace) in Babaeski
and İstanbul and Balkan Postası
(1949- 60, 14 issues).
He wrote for the newspapers Son Posta, Zaman, Vakit, İstiklal, Son Havadis, Milliyet and Bugün after having moved to Turkey in 1934. He published many newspapers in various places; the newspapers Balkan Postası (1950-54) and Balkan (1961-63) in İstanbul, and the reviews Çağdaş (1946), Anavatan (1947) and Türk Dünyası (1955). He founded the publishing house Türk Görüşü. He is buried in İstanbul Çamlık Graveyard.
