Political
scientist, administrator, bureaucrat, general manager. Haşimi has graduated
from Middle East Technical University, Department of Sociology. Then, he
graduated from Manchester University, Masters Program on International Relations
with the thesis named "Tragedy, Politics and Political: Hans J. Morgenthau
and International Relations Theory" with "High Honors".
Hasimi has
continued with his academic studies at Johns Hopkins University, Department of
Political Science, Program of International Relations and Political Theory and
received his doctoral degree with the thesis titled "Nomos of the World:
Euro-centrism and International Relations". He worked as an assistant at
the same university between the dates 2003-2008. Hasimi is the editor of the
book named Turkey, Europe and European Union (2011, Meydan Publishing) and he
has articles published on international relations theory, Euro-centrism,
political sphere and the creation of identities, Islamophobia and European
Union.
Haşimi was
appointed as Press and Information General Director in November 2014 and he is
Prime Consultant of Prime Minister and Public Diplomacy Coordinator.
