Novelist (b. 2 November 1954, Harran / Şanlıurfa). She graduated from Çamlıca High School for Girls. She took painting, theater and bridge courses. She opened painting exhibitions and gave theater and bridge courses. She is a member of Writers Syndicate of Turkey. She continues his works in İstanbul.

Her first short story was published in the review Edebiyat’ 81 in 1981. She wrote short stories for the reviews Varlık, Gösteri, Cumhuriyet Dergi, E, Karşı, Kıyı, İnsancıl and Playboy. Her essays were published in the review Türk Dili Dergisi. Tülay Ferah, who took positive critics for her first novel, started to write children’s stories after having published her second novel. Afterwards, she gained attraction with her novels and her surrealist and ironical narration in these novels.
