Poet (b. 1752, Adana
- d. 1814, İstanbul). He had had a difficult life until he became Chamberlain
to Sünbülzade Vehbi in İstanbul, where he had come after completing his
education in his hometown. He worked as the Muslim Judge of Yenipazar (1796) and
Mostar (1890) with the help of Sünbülzade Vehbi. After his death he was buried
near him. He was known as a master of appointing historical dates in his
encomiums and lyric poems. He appointed the dates of many events of his time
and even from preceding periods according to the Muslim calendar. In this field
he was a specialist and the poems he wrote have an appointed date in each line.

Paşa, 1883; a part of it was published by Ebüzziya Tevfik with the pen name of
Sürûrî Müverrih, 1899).
