Storywriter and novelist (b. 1924, Çankırı - d. 17
January 1985, İstanbul). He graduated from Ankara Gazi High School (1941) and
Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine. He worked as a doctor in various cities
in Anatolia. He retired when he was an internal diseases specialist at the
Social Security Foundation Hospital in Malatya in 1973.
He entered the world of literature with his poems
published in Büyük Doğu magazine with the pen name, M.
Doluca (1943). After 1947, he was known for his short stories published in Varlık magazine. The years 1947-54 were
very productive for Muzaffer Hacıhasanoğlu from the point of view of short
stories. He received the 1980 Turkish Language Association Story Award with his
book Eller (Hands).
