Journalist-writer. He was born on December 27, 1943 in Erzurum. He completed his primary, secondary educations, high school and university in Erzurum. He graduated from Ataturk University Faculty of Agriculture. He worked as producer in TRT, vice director at Erzurum Radio, branch manager at Ankara Television, branch manager of publications, publications office director at the Ministry of Agriculture, vice president of Prime Ministry Family Research Institution, consultant at Ministry of Agriculture and Prime Ministry. He was retired in 1996. He participated in the establishment of Radio Birlik and worked as chief-editor. He is the member of Writers’ Union of Turkey, Intellectuals Hearth, BBP General Executive Board member and the president of Foundation of Turkish Writers’ Union.

His articles and columns were published in several newspapers and journals such as Akit Yeni Şafak, Sağduyu, Gündüz, Palandöken, Muhalif, Yeni Dönem, Tutanak, Hareket, Adımlar, Yeni Türkiye, Nizam- ı Alem, Mina. He has also prepared several programs for radio and television.
