Writer (b. 1891, İstanbul - d. 12
December 1945). He was the brother of Abdülhak Şinasi Bey. He graduated from
Galatasaray High School (1910). He dropped out of Geneva University and worked
as a journalist, then as a teacher of history and as the director of Printing
and Illustration Collection Directorate, which he founded after his returned to
Turkey (1934). Starting in 1922he published his research on press history and
his articles on bibliographies in the review İleri, as well as in several
newspapers and reviews.
