Theologian, musician. He graduated from Van Imam Hatip High School
and Uludağ University Faculty of Theology (1984). He was appointed as a
research assistant at the same faculty in Education of Religion Subdivision. He
completed his masters’ education in 1986 and his doctorate in 1992. After
completing his military service, he continued to work in the same faculty.
Meanwhile, he has completed his project named “The Problems and Expectations of Qur’an Courses of Directorate of
Religious Affairs”, which was supported by Uludağ University Research Fund
and Directorate of Religious Affairs. He became an associate professor in 1995.
He worked as vice chair of Philosophy and Religious Sciences department. He
became a professor in 2001 with his work named “Guidance at Theology Faculties (in terms of Education”. He worked
as the Department Chair of Primary School Religion and Ethics Teachers since
1998.
His radio and television speeches were published in
TRT Ankara and Istanbul
radio and televisions (TRT, TV-1 and TV-2) between 1984 and 1988. He conducted
research in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan on
religious institutions in 1992. He gave conferences on his area in many
European countries between 1994 and 1998. His undergraduate thesis named “Let’s Talk About Allah to our Kids” was
published fifteen times until 2003. Besides his academic works and musical
works, he directed a document named Istanbul’dan Buhara’ya. He prepared fourteen albums and thirty
compositions until 2003. His articles were published in journals such as Diyanet
Dergisi, U.Ü. İlâhiyat Fakültesi Dergisi, Din Eğitimi Araştırmaları Dergisi.
