Poet and writer. He was born in Kelküt / Islahiye / Gaziantep in 1954. He
graduated from Gaziantep Imam Hatip High School,
Gaziantep High
School and the Department of Arabic Language and Literature,
Faculty of Literature, Istanbul
University (1978). He
started his career as a journalist in 1979 and worked in the newspapers of Tercüman, Ortadoğu and Önce Vatan, and was a columnist in those
newspapers. Then he continued with his career as the coordinator in Ihlas News
Agency and Veri News Agency. His poems, where he used syllabic and free meters
were published in journals such as Türk Edebiyatı, Cemre, Dağarcık, Boğaziçi
etc.
