Story writer and novelist (b. 1957, İstanbul). He graduated from Ankara Bahçelievler Exemplary High School (1973) and Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts (Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University), Training School of Practical Industrial Arts, Department of Graphic Design (1977). He completed his postgraduate education on Visual Communication (1977- 81) at Goldsmiths College in London. He moved to Los Angeles in 1982. He has continued his work in literature reviews published in America and on the Internet site Locus Novus (www.locusnovus.com), where experimental texts are mixed with audiovisual elements.

WORKS:

SHORT STORY: Kopuk Bağlantılar (The Broken Links, 1988), Amber (Perfume, 1999), Modus Operandi (Mode of Operation, 1999).

NOVEL: İti (Repulsion, 1995), Beşpeşe (Five Following Each Other, with Bülent Erkmen, Murathan Mungan, Pınar Kür, Elif Şafak, Celil Oker, 2004).

ESSAY-RESEARCH: Yazılamamış Bir Tarih Kitabı İçin Dipnotlar (Footnotes for a History Book That Was Not Written, 1995), 32 Büst (32 Busts, with Bülent Erkmen, 1999).

COLLECTION: Tuhaf İnsanlar Zamanı ve Beldeler Kitabı (Time of the Odd People and The Book of Towns, 2004).
