Researcher-writer, calligraphist, photographer, enrichment artist. He was born on April 14, 1959 in Tosya / Kastamonu. He graduated from Imam Hatip High School (1978), Anadolu University AOF Department of Social Sciences (1995) and Theology. He participated in many mixed exhibitions within Turkey. He tried to make the art of calligraphy familiar for the public and taught calligraphy for long years. He participated to Second Kastamonu Culture Symposium and submitted his paper named “Calligraphists of Tosya during the Ottoman Era” (2003). He is an artist also known with his works in photography and enrichment. Some examples of his work were placed in mosque enrichments around Ankara and the ceiling ornamentations of Anıtkabir that he did in 1997 and 1998. He worked as a redactor in Directorate of Religious Affairs, Religious Publications Office, DIB Periodicals Office journal Diyanet Aylık’s coordinator after 1978. He is known with his works in photography, camera and mosque enrichments. He is the calligraphist of the works named Kur’an Alfabesi (1994) and Kur’an Okulu (1997). He is a member of GESAM, Turkey Writers’ Union and ILESAM.

He published more than eighty articles in the journals such as Diyanet İlmî, Diyanet Aylık, Diyanet Avrupa and Hakses. His articles and biographies about traditional arts, Islamic arts and literature were published in Diyanet İlmî, Diyanet, Yeni Asya, Hakses, Vakıflar, Diyanet Avrupa from 1997 onwards.
