Researcher, writer, politician, congressman. He was born in Güneysu
/Rize in November 16, 1960. He completed his primary and secondary education in
Diyarbakır and Istanbul because of his father’s duty. He
graduated from Yıldız Teknik University Faculty of Construction
Engineering. In 1984, he began to work
in Inanç Foreign Trading Services. Later
he became general coordinator in the same group. Between 1990 and 93, he worked
in Altmışlar Group which was a civil organization. Between 1993-95 years, he
gave foreign trading courses in Marmara
University. Between
1990-95 years, he worked in TAEA (Textile and Apparel Exporters’ Association)
committees. In 1994, he published Gümrük
Birliği Sürecinde Türkiye magazine which was about Turkey’s
relations with European Union. In 1995, he established the Turkey’s first private Foreign Trading
Education Center
which had approval from Ministry of National Education. Same year he was
elected as a member of ICI (Istanbul Chamber of Industry) Garment Industry Occupation
Committee. Between the years 1997 and 1999, he worked as a member in MIBA
(Merter Industrialist and Businessmen Association) Administrative Board. Between the years of 1997 and 2000, he was
elected as council member of ISO. In 2002, he began to work in AK Party
Istanbul City Administrative Council.
Many articles and research on foreign trading and EU of him were
published in several publishing organs. He began to his political life in AK
Party and in 2002 he was assigned to the membership of Istanbul City
Administrative Council. He worked City Management Election Works in charge of
as Çatalca County. In 2003, he was elected as AK
Party Istanbul City Administrative Council member. In July 1st 2003, he was
assigned as Vice President of City Organisation, Külünk was the head of
Istanbul SKM during the 28 March 2004 Local Elections.
