Journalist and writer (b. Gaziantep, 1956). He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Communication. During the September 12 period, he worked as a correspondent on the martial law administration and education. After the 1983 elections, he worked at the Prime Ministry as the correspondent of the Motherland Party and the parliament.

In 1992, he left the newspaper Cumhuriyet and worked at Sabah as the parliament correspondent and then he worked in the newspaper Hürriyet where he worked as the head of Ankara Office for five years and then he continued to work as researcher and writer at the same newspaper.
