Ahmed Mürşidî

Poet (B. Diyarbakır, 1698- D. Diyarbakır, 1760). He has also used the Ahmedi and Mürşidi nicknames. He completed his education in his hometown. He was interested in Islamic mysticism and became follower of Birecikli Sheikh Ebubekir. His work titled Pendnâme was well known among people.
