About Us

Biyografya, which came to life in 2016 by moving İhsan Işık's encyclopedias—a product of 40 years of accumulation—to the digital environment, is Turkey's most comprehensive and reliable digital biography bank. It presents the life stories of prominent figures who have left their mark in culture, art, science, politics, business, and many other fields to its readers with an objective, impartial, and document-based approach. Our aim is to keep the social memory alive and to ensure easy access to reliable biographical data from a single point.

Today, home to more than 100,000 biographies, Biyografya also gives a place to professionals from every sector and new-generation talents who meet our notability principle, alongside the names who have left a mark from the past to the present. With the "Publish / Claim Your Biography" feature, users are given the opportunity to manage their own digital identities and create their official profiles. In this way, you can directly manage your digital presence in the internet world, ensure its accuracy and currency, and protect your personal brand with a verified profile badge.

Biyografya serves as a "Hosting Provider" within the scope of relevant internet laws and continues its mission of being a free and accessible information source.
