By visiting this website (Biyografya.com) or utilizing the services offered (including "Create / Claim Biography"), you are deemed to have accepted the following terms of service:
1. Scope of Service and Content Responsibility
Biyografya operates as a "Hosting Provider" in accordance with applicable internet broadcasting laws. The relevant users are entirely responsible for the content of the biographies created, modified, or claimed ("Verified Profile") by users on our site. Users undertake not to upload content that violates copyrights, personal rights, or the law.
2. User Obligations
- During the profile verification process, no identification documents (ID Number, Passport, etc.) are requested from you. Verification processes are carried out solely through a "Social Media Account with Identity Verification/Badge" or a "Corporate/Official E-Mail Address" that belongs to you (and whose ownership can be clearly proven). If you do not have a verified (blue tick) social media account, the account you present must meet at least one of the following criteria: 1) A direct link to this account on the person's own official website or other verified channels (Link in Official Sources). 2) Posts being consistent retrospectively and having older dates (Consistent Account History). 3) The content in the profile being original and its identity being explicitly approved by other reliable accounts (Content and Cross-Verification). In order to prevent fraud and take precautions against attempts to open an account on someone else's behalf; suspicious account opening attempts that cannot meet these minimum criteria are rejected, and no refunds are made for such malicious or incomplete information transactions. Therefore, please do not apply if you do not have a profile or corporate email that you can clearly prove belongs to you beyond any doubt.
- Creating a fake profile on behalf of someone else, making misleading statements, or performing unauthorized transactions is a crime. In the event of detecting such violations, the relevant profile will be immediately removed from publication and deleted, the service fee paid will not be refunded, and legal action may be initiated if deemed necessary.
- The timeliness and accuracy of the information published on the Biyografya platform are the responsibility of the profile owner.
- The content on the platform cannot be copied, reproduced, or published in other media for commercial purposes without the written permission of Biyografya.
3. Illegal Content and Sanctions (Zero Tolerance)
Although Biyografya does not have an obligation to pre-audit or censor content as a "Hosting Provider"; a zero tolerance policy is applied against content deemed illegal by law on our platform.
In the content (text, photo, link, etc.) uploaded by users;
- Making propaganda for terrorist organizations, praising crime and criminals,
- Sharing materials containing child abuse, pedophilia, or obscenity,
- Racism, hate speech, discrimination, or inciting the public to hatred and hostility,
- Insulting, slandering, threatening, or blackmailing individuals or institutions,
- Violating intellectual and industrial property rights (copyrights) is strictly prohibited.
Upon detection of such illegal or infringing content or upon receiving a valid notification (Notice and Takedown) from official authorities/right holders, Biyografya management reserves the right to immediately remove the relevant content or profile from publication without prior notice, permanently delete the account, and not refund the service fee. Furthermore, the IP addresses and log records of users engaging in actions containing criminal elements may be shared with judicial authorities as per our legal obligations, and legal proceedings may be initiated against them. Any legal, penal, and pecuniary compensation liability that may arise belongs exclusively to the user who created the content.
4. Continuity of Service and Changes
Biyografya does its best to keep the platform running uninterruptedly but cannot be held responsible for interruptions in service that may occur due to technical malfunctions or maintenance work. Biyografya reserves the right to change the terms of use and the content of the services offered without prior notice.
5. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The laws of the Republic of Turkey shall apply in the resolution of any disputes that may arise from these Terms of Service, and the Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
