Linguist, story writer (b. 26 January 1932, Baku / Azerbaijan). Her full name is Azize Yahya Kızı. Her pen name is Türkân. She graduated from Azerbaijan State University, faculty of Philologia, Department of Journalism. For a long time, she took responsibilities in Gençlik Publication. Her first story called “Korkmazın Hatası” (The Fault of Korkmaz) was published in the periodical Piyoner in 1957. She had many works on her own or translation.
