Poet (b. 1968, Maksutuşağı village / Pazarcık / Kahramanmaraş). He attended primary and elementary school in Gaziantep. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Law. His first poems were published in the reviews Ekin Belleten and Yazıt and later in Edebiyat Eleştiri, Adam Sanat and Defter. He collected the Orhon Murat Arıburnu Award and the Halil Kocagöz Award in 1997, with his first book Rüzgâr Dolu Konaklar (Mansions Full of Wind).
