Poet (b. 1941, Aksu Village, Kabardino-Balkar Republic).
He graduated from Kabardino-Balkar State University, Faculty of Philology,
Department of Balkar Language. He became renowned in literary milieus in
1960's. He worked in newspapers and served as Director of General Broadcasting
in the Department of Balkar Broadcasts of the State Radio and Television
Corporation, as the vice-director of the State Radio and Television Corporation
and as the General Director of Elbruz State Publishing House.
His poems were published in Russian, Kyrgyz, Turkish and in the languages
of Tajikistan, Lithuania, Ukraine. He is a state artist of Kabordino-Balkar
Republic, and a member of Writers Union of Russia.
