Poet
(b. 1939, Oğarı Bahsan, Kabardino-Balkar Republic). He graduated from
Kabardino-Balkar University, Department of Balkar Language and Literature
(1964) He finished the Advanced Literature Courses in Moscow in 1967.
He worked in
the literature review Şuyohluk for a
long time. First book of Mokaev who began to write his poems during high school
years, was published in 1960. He is a member of the Writers Union of Union of
Soviet Socialist Republics-Russian Federation (1965) and Kabardino-Balkar
Republic State Literature Award (2000) He is a state artist.
