Researcher and writer (b. 2 August
1957, Amasya). He attended Suluova Merkez Primary School and graduated from
Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences (1980). He completed his
master’s in 1984 and his PhD at İstanbul University, Faculty of Economics,
Department of Social Structure and Social Change in 1987. His master’s thesis
was “Kadrocular” (Permanent Staffers). He became an associate professor in 1990
and a professor in 1996. Since 1984, he has been working as an academician at
Gazi University, Faculty of Communication.
His articles have been published in the
reviews Yeni Türkiye (member of the
editorial board), İslâmî İlimler
(member of the editorial board), Türkiye
Günlüğü, Millî Kültür, Türk Yurdu, İletişim Dergisi, Yeni Toplum, Düşünen
Siyaset, Yeni Dünya, Virgül, Karizma and in the newspaper Zaman. He wrote the screenplays of the
films Dört Mevsim Kuş Cenneti (Four
Seasons’ Bird Paradise), which was broadcast on Turkish Radio and Television’s
Channel
