Poet (b. 1923, Çankırı - d. 19 March 1976, İstanbul). He had to leave his studies at secondary school early. He worked at the review Doğan Kardeş and at various journals and publishing houses. He founded Yankı Publishing House. He is buried in Aşiyan Graveyard. His poems and articles were published in the art supplement of Vakit journal (1931) and in reviews such as Servet-i Fünûn, Uyanış, Varlık, İstanbul, Fikirler and Diyelim (1941-53). He is mostly known for the poems he wrote for children.

Buğu (Vapor, 1942), Yağmur (Rain, 1944), Canım Dünya (Beloved World, 1945), Elma Ağacı (Apple Tree, children’s poetry, 1971), Onlar da Çocuktu (They Were Also Children, life stories of well-known people, for children, 1972).
