Jurnalist, poet and writer (b. 1956, Çorum). He graduated from Ankara Gazi University, Institute of Education, Department of Turkish. For a while he worked as a teacher, and then he started as a journalist (1984). His first poem was published in the review Türk Edebiyatı (1978). He collected the Behçet Necatigil Poetry Award with his work İnsan Bir Yalnızlıktır (A Person is Loneliness).
