Writer, artist. He was born in Derinkuyu/ Nevşehir on January 20, 1959. He completed his primary school education in his county (1971). He left secondary school. Then in 1983, he completed his secondary education in his county. He graduated from Nevşehir High School (external education, 1993). Beginning from 1983, he worked as National Education officer in Derinkuyu County. Besides his formal duty, he also continued with his writings, paintings and cartoons, and opened several art exhibitions. He is a member of Turkey Writers’ Union and GESAM.
His writings and cartoons were published in Hergün (1979), Ortadoğu (1979), Yeni Devir (1981-83), Millî Gazete (1982-84), Yeni Düşünce (1984-92), Türkiye (1990), Zaman (1992), Yeni Hafta (1992-94), Gündüz (1994-99) newspapers and in Töre, Türk Edebiyatı, Bizim Ocak, Diyanet Çocuk, Güneysu, Sabır, Orkun, Bizim Dergâh, Nizam-ı Alem, Uzunsokak, Bizim Gençlik, Tarla, Erciyes, Palandöken, Martı, Nilüfer, Nene Hatun, Bizim Öncü, Genç Kardelen, Polemik, Şardağı, Karaisalı, Nisan Bulutu, Gökçekimi, Genç Alperen, Seviye, Çınar, Güneyde Kültür, Divit Sanat, Tırpan, Eğitim Bilim, Kümbet, Bizim Külliye magazines. He received an award in MAZLUM-DER’s Freedom to Head Scarf Contest with his cartoons in 1997. He was sued because of his writings titled Understanding Ottoman, Head Scarf and Merve Kavakçı. He punished with forfeiture of pay in 1999 and he was exiled from the city.
