Novelist (b. 1942, Ankara). After graduating from Arnavutköy (Robert) College for Girls (1961), she took courses on criticism of theatre. She worked for the press organs such as Doğan Kardeş in Turkey and Time and Life in New York. She took up literature with children's novel and gained great fame with juvenile novels. She carries on her studies in Mersin.
