Researcher- author. Born in Petekli village / Sürmene / Trabzon in 1948. He graduated from Higher School of Teachers’ Education in Ankara and Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History and Geography (1972). His doctoral thesis is: “Poetry of Necip Fazıl” (1984). He worked as a teacher and administrator in Malatya Technical High School (1972-1976), Bursa Education Institute and Teachers’ School (1976-1982). He became the director of Trakya University Canakkale Education Institution in 1982. His reviews were published in the journals of Türk Edebiyatı (1984) and Çanakkale Eğitim Enstitüsü Araştırma (1987). He is a member of Turkish Hearths Association.
