Journalist, writer (B. 1889, Gördes, Manisa- D. 21 October, 1956, Istanbul).  He is the brother of Asım Us. He graduated from Istanbul School of Law. He worked as literature teacher in Mercan and Galatasaray High Schools. He published his writings in Vakit, which his brother directed and also he worked in newspapers such as Tercüman-ı Hakikat, Tasvir-i Efkâr. He was elected as congressman from Giresun (1923). He worked as the head of Matbuat Cemiyeti ve Basın Birliğiand Turk Language Association (1951-54). There is a library in Istanbul Sultanahmet, established on behalf of him with the books he donated.

"His articles were mostly blamed of being unclear; but in fact they were samples of his delicacy that calculated the most distant possibilities, answered all the holy questions full with many secondary sentences, titles and implications. His articles were dark for the average reader; but valuable and important for experts. Hakki Tarik was a real investigator." (Peyami Safa)
