Poet and writer (30 May 1930, Şamaxı (Shamakhi), Azerbaijan). He attended primary school in Şamahı. He attended art school in Baku and worked as electric technician. He graduated from night school and Azerbaijan State University, Faculty of Philology while he was working in Mingeçevir district. He worked in different institutions and organizations.

His first poem was Artist (Artist). He wrote plays, short stories and scenarios besides his poems. He translated the book of Tevfik Fikret Şermin (Şermin) into Azeri Turkish. Some of his poems were composed. He represented Azerbaijan in foreign countries.

Cığır (Path, 1963), Deniz Küçemize Gelir (Sea Comes to Our Street, 1968), Sevgi Yağışı (Rain of the Love, 1970), Işığın Yaşı (Age of the Light, 1974), Göyde Ne Var (What is on the Sky, 1978), Yerden Göye Ümid (Hope from Earth to Sky, 1981), Göyden Alma Düşmedi (Apple did not Fall from the Sky, 1982).
