
Ebulûlâ Mardin
After İstanbul was taken by the Turkish Army in 1922, he worked in the commission which was established for the administration of the city. In 1908, he established Sırat-ı Mustakim Publications in collaboration with Eşref Edip. Ebulûlâ Mardin, who had also published an Islamic review Kelime-i Tayibe in 1912, is especially famous for his research on Cevdet Paşa and for his work Huzur Dersleri (Lessons of Peace), the first volume of which he published himself.

Medeni Hukuk Cephesinden Cevdet Paşa / 1822-1895 (Cevdet Paşa from the Civil Law Side, published for the 50th anniversary of the death of Cevdet Paşa, 1946), Huzur Dersleri (Lessons of Peace, 3 volumes, first volume published by himself, 1956. republished by his student İsmet Sungur, with 2nd and 3rd volumes including biographies of people who attended these lessons after his death, 1966).
Besides these, he published various works on law.
