He worked as proofreader, reporter and writer in Yeni Asya (1976-80), Tasvir (1980-81), Yeni Nesil (1981-89) newspapers. He worked in a county’s culture department in Istanbul. He published his works in the newspapers he worked at and in Yolbaşı and Köprü (1970-89) magazines.
