Aydın Oy
Researcher and writer (b. 1937, Tekirdağ - d. 9 December 1997, İstanbul). He attended the İstanbul Çapa Teacher Training School (1954), Çapa Institute of Education (1972) and graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of Literature (1972). He served as a teacher of Turkish in various elementary schools in Silvan, Diyarbakır (1956-57), Konya (1957-58), Yozgat (1958-59), Tekirdağ (1959-66) and İstanbul. He carried on his duty as a lecturer of Turkish language at Belgrade University (1967-80) and as a teacher of literature at İstanbul Anatolian High School (1982-85) and as a faculty member at Mimar Sinan University until 1985. He published his articles and poems in the reviews Türk Dili, Türk Folklor Araştırmaları, Ilgaz and Hisar.
