Poet (B. 1881, Salonika- D. August 15, 1975, Istanbul). After he completed his education in Salonika, after 1908, he worked as a literature teacher in İstanbul, Adana and Bursa teacher schools, after 1939 until his retirement (1945), he worked in Gazi Education Institute. Then he worked in Turkish Literature Institution. He was known with his poems for kids. He is the poet of Gençlik Marşı which begins with the “Dağbaşını Duman Almış” words.
