Poet (b. 1962, Tunceli). He graduated from Paşabahçe Ferit İnal High School. He works as a redactor at the Frankfurt Bureau of the newspaper Hürriyet in Germany. He is known especially for his poems published in the journal Adam-Sanat. He won the 1994 Cemal Süreya Poetry Award with his book Aşağı Üsküdar (Lower Part of Üsküdar). One of his poems that took part in a competition featured in an anthology called Dalle Ebridi a Malta (From the Ebridi to Malta) published in Italy in 2001.
