Journalist and writer (b. 1866, İstanbul – d. 08.02.1954, Istanbul). He graduated from Soğuk–çeşme Military Elementary School and Galatasaray High School. He did not complete his education at the Academy of Fine Arts. He served as a civil servant and parliamentary deputy (1939) for a time. He worked as a writer and editor-in-chief at the newspapers Tasvir-i Efkâr, Yeni Gün, Tercüman-ı Hakikat, İkdam and Cumhuriyet from 1908.

Kanatların Zaferi (The Victory of Wings), Deniz (The Sea, 1932), Gemi (The Ship, 1932), Mülâzim Romanı (Novel of a Lieutenant, 1936), Dünkü, Bugünkü, Yarınki İstanbul (İstanbul of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, 1947), Türk Denizciliği (Turkish Maritime, 1947), Mazlum Şehzade Cem (The Desperate Prince Cem, play, performed in 1909).
