Elsie Vance Aşkar is a strategy, marketing and governance consultant with offices in both New York and Istanbul. Previously, she was a Vice President of the New York City Partnership, the business and civic organization dedicated to enhancing the economy of New York’s five boroughs, founded by David Rockefeller.
She
worked in the US Senate as a member of the senior management team to Senator
Gary Hart, both in his Senate office and on his Presidential campaigns. Elsie
Vance is a member of the New York Council on Foreign Relations, and the Women’s
Foreign Policy Group, based in Washington, DC.
She
is on the Board of the Vance Center for International Justice of the New York
City Bar Association, the American Turkish Society based in New York City, and
Robert College of Istanbul. Elsie Nicoll Vance Aşkar graduated from Vanderbilt
University and received an M.B.A. from Koc University in Istanbul.
