Cartoonist, writer. He
was born on September 20, 1955 in Aslıhantepecik / Balıkesir. He completed the
primary school in his village. He graduated from Balıkesir Imam Hatip School
(1974) and Bursa Uludağ University, Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences
(1980). He worked as graphic designer at a factory in Bursa and as a bazaar
salesmen for seven years; he settled to Istanbul and continued with his work in
his own graphics agency. He continues his works in Istanbul as a graphic
designer and cartoonist.
His first cartoon was
published in Yenidevir newspaper (February 3, 1978). Since that day, his
cartoons were published in several journals and newspapers such as Yenidevir,
Millî Gazete, Zaman, Yeni Şafak, Mavera, Yönelişler, Inquiry (England), Aylık
Dergi, İslâm, Kadın ve Aile, Gülçocuk, Yedi İklim, Kayıtlar, Kardelen and
Hece. He published Kayıtlar
journal in 1990 with his friends until 1994. He wrote stories under Keloğlan
title and autobiography under Müşahedat title and the first eight
chapters were published in Yedi İklim journal.
