Sociologist. He was born
in Lefkopetra
(Sakarkaya) / Greece in 1964. He went to Minority Primary School (1976) in his
hometown and Composite Minority Secondary and High School in Ksanthi (İskeçe)
(1982). He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences
International Relations Department (1986). He received his master (1991) and
PhD. (1999) from Hacettepe University Social Sciences Institute sociology
subdivision. He worked in TRT Foreign Broadcasting Office, Government Press
Broadcasting and Information General Directorate then in 1995 he began to work
in Hacettepe University Faculty of Literature Sociology Department. He taught
introduction to sociology, introduction to administrative sociology,
introduction to management, introduction to law, introduction to economy,
common economy and structure of Turkish socio-culture lessons at the university
level.
He contributed to “AtaTürk
ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Konusunda Yurtdışında Yayınlanmış Kitaplar
Bibliyografyası” project which was published in 2000 by Atatürk Research
Center. He continued with his studies on ethnic groups, minority groups, immigrant
groups, terrorism and terrorist groups, law and political institutions, moor
era, Ottoman era, Turkish Sociological Structures of Republic, socio-cultural
structures and Balkans.
