Poet. She was born on September
1, 1955, Istanbul. Her full name is Aslı Durak Sonsuzoğlu. She graduated from
Moda Primary School, Kadıköy Girls High School, and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University
Faculty of Architecture consecutively. She worked as an independent architect
for a while then she quit business life.
Her first poem was published in Kadıköy’ün Sesi in
1972. After a long break, in 1992, she published her poems and writings in Varlık,
Kıyı, Şiir Ülkesi, Kuzey Su, Türk Dili, Detay, Uç, Şiir Defteri, Şiir Ülkesi,
Vurgu, Şiir Atı magazines. Some of
her poems were translated into French. She is a member of Turkey Writers Union
and Turkey Education Association, also Cemal Süreyya Culture Art Association
Administrative Committee. Some of her books were published online.
