Istanbul High School for Boys

Journalist and writer (b. 1911, İstanbul). He graduated from Istanbul High School for Boys (1929) and dropped out of İstanbul University, Faculty of Literature and worked as a decorator and poster painter for a while. After 1929, he worked on the newspapers Vatan, Son Posta, Zaman and Yeni İstanbul and in the reviews Türk Spor and Olimpiyat as a writer and illustrator.

Between the years of 1934-37, he worked as a journalist in France for the newspaper Cumhuriyet. Between 1951 and 1954, he worked for the Ministry of Tourism and later for the state Petrol Office. He appeared in Muhsin Ertuğrul's film Cici Berber (The Good Barber).
