Poet (b. January 1954, Siverek / Şanlıurfa). His real name is Hayri Yetik. He has also used the pen names Hayri K. Yetik, Ahmed Behlül, Hayri Kako, Hayri Kako Yetik and Hayri Kako Y. He attended primary and secondary schools in the city where he was born (1971). He graduated from Diyarbakır Faculty of Education (1977). He worked as Turkish and literature teacher in Malatya, Antalya, Manisa and İzmir and then retired. He is member of the Authors Society General Headquarters Board of Directors (representative of İzmir), the Writers Union of Turkey and the PEN Writers Association Center of Turkey.

His first articles were published in Siverek’in Sesi (1.23.1973) and his first poem Ağustos Akşamlarda Demlenme (Brewing on August Nights) was published in Sanat Edebiyat 81 (issue 19, December, 1982). His stories, poems, commentaries and studies have been published in reviews such as Varlık, Eski, Yazıt, Gösteri, Damar, Ünlem, Papirüs, Öteki-Siz, Kum, Adam Sanat, E, Yom, Sanat Edebiyat, Temmuz, İnsancıl, Karşı, Broy, Berfin, Kavram Karmaşa, Eski, Deng, Anadili, Öğretmen Dünyası, Nikbinlik, Akköy, Çağla, Yaratım, Akropol, Edebiyat Eleştiri, Edebiyat Gündemi, Papirüs, Bilim ve Siyaset, Yeni İnsan; his essays have been published in the newspapers Siverek’in Sesi, Gündem, Demokrasi, Yankı, Radikal and his commentaries and book presentation articles in Cumhuriyet Kitap. He is leader in organizing the İzmir Story Days (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005) and the İzmir Poetry Festival (2003, 2005), a traditional and international event. He has contributed to the review Ayrım Şiir (12 Issues, 1989) as a founder and member of board of editors. He has contributed to the review Agora where he continues to work as a publication consultant (2000-). He was given the 2001 Behçet Aysan Poetry Award by the Owners of Artistic Works (SES)
