Poet (b. 6 June 1948, Ortaköy / Iğdır). He graduated from Kars Commercial High School (1967), Kars Primary Teacher Training School for Girls (from outside) and the Ankara Economics and Commercial Studies Academy (1972). He completed his postgraduate education at Gazi University on Accounting Finance (1987). He worked as a primary teacher school in Ankara (1968- 75) and secondary school and commercial high school teacher in Kırıkkale (1976- 1977) and Ankara (1978- 83). He worked as a lecturer in the accounting program of Hacettepe University, Vocational School (1977- 96). He has been a lecturer at Çankaya University and an auditor since 1996.

His first poem Komşu Kızı (Neighbor’s Daughter) featured in Genç Şairler Antolojisi (Young Poets Anthology). His other poems have been published in the reviews Öğretmen Dünyası, ABC, Kıyı and Karşı and in the newspapers Devrek Postası and Cumhuriyet. He has held photograph and poetry exhibitions in Ankara, İzmir, Sapanca, Devrek and Hacıbektaş since 1990. He received an honorable mention at the Nahit Övünç Poetry Competition held by the review İremcik in 1992 and various awards at photographic competitions in 1990 and 1992. He writes easily understandable poems consisting of short lines that generally focus on explanations, descriptions and provocation. Like an instant photograph, he captures the smallest detail in a picture, revealing the tender side of an emotional situation. His main themes are longing, searching for love and loving the world and everyday things.
