Poet (b. 1941, Ereğli /
Zonguldak). He attended the Bolu High School for Boys (1959), and graduated
from Ankara University, Faculty of Language, History and Geography, Department
of Italian Philology (1963). He worked as a translator at the Cumhuriyet
Ansiklopedisi (The Encyclopedia of the Republic), and as a text writer at
advertising companies after 1970. His poems were published in the reviews Yeditepe,
Dönem, Papirüs, Ataç, Devinim, Dost and Yelken after 1959. Under the
influence of the "Second New", his poetry changed with socialist
inclinations.

Besides, he translated poems and short stories from Italian.
