Prof. Dr. Seval Bahadır Koca, Isparta Uygulamalı Bilimler Üniversitesi Eğirdir Su Ürünleri Fakültesi, Su Ürünleri Yetiştiriciliği Bölümü, Yetiştiricilik Anabilim Dalı bünyesinde görev yapmaktadır.
Lisans (Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi, 1995), yüksek lisans (Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi, 1998) ve doktora (Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi, 2007) eğitimlerini tamamladı. Doktora tezi: "Batı Anadolu Rissoacea (Gastropoda, Prosobranchia) faunasının belirlenmesi" (2007).
Akademik kayıtlara göre 142 bilimsel yayını bulunmaktadır; bunların 31'i Web of Science dizinlidir. Uluslararası yayın dizinlerinde 10 yayını kayıtlıdır.
