Playwright (b. 1874, İstanbul – d.  6 March 1935, Ankara). He was a graduate of Galatasaray High School. He worked in several positions as a civil servant. He retired when he was the Account Manager of the Quarantine Administration. In his later years, he was also the stage director of the Ankara Community Center, along with his official duties.

He was elected to the executive board of the İstanbul Municipal City Theater at its second establishment in 1915. He published a humor magazine called Kelebelek with Mahmut Yesari and Reşat Nuri Güntekin. He was known for the comedies he wrote and adapted between the years 1919 and 1922.

Ceza Kanunu (Penal Code, 1924), Dört Cihan, Nurbaba (Four Worlds, Nurbaba, 1924), Hisse-i Şayia (A Share of the Rumor, 1930), Şer’iye Mahkemesinde (In the Fictional Court, 1933), Belkıs (Belkıs, 1934), Himmet’in Oğlu (Son of Himmet, 1934), Son Altes (The Last Highness, 1934).

His plays Yegâne Odalık (The Only Concubine), Lokmanzâde Sekizinci (Lokmanzâde the Eighth), Zuhal Burcunda (In the Saturn Zodiac Sign), all staged between the years 1919 and 1922 but were not published.
