Story writer (b. 2 February 1962, Kocapınar village / Gönen / Balıkesir). He attended Karesi Primary School (1973), Atatürk Secondary School (1976) and graduated from Muharrem Nasbi High School (1979) and Gazi University, Faculty of Management (1983). He is in business in Balıkesir.

His first short story Bir Yıldız Kayar Bir İnsan Ölürmüş (A Shooting Star Flies, A Person Dies) was published in the review Aylık Dergi in 1982. His other works have mainly featured in the reviews Hece, Yedi İklim, Yönelişler and Mavera. He won the Writers Union of Turkey 1999 Short Story Award with his work Esenlik Zamanları (Times of Heartiness).
